Muse
 

   From self-published author to music producer and many other art forms in between, I have become a new modern Muse. My name is Kwantesia Williams, a Detroit native who fell in love with music when I was 3 years old. Dancing to 80’s The Scene and The New Dance Show in the 90’s. My mother, like me, has many talents and skills. She started dancing and singing in the choir as a child, so music was very important in my home. I loved hearing all the different kinds of music growing up. Music and dance became a part of who I am today. Music was my escape, my therapist and teacher. I love all genres and play music daily. I tampered with a few instruments like keyboards, violin, and bass guitar. I am also a writer, and you can believe music was playing as I wrote novels, poetry and even school papers.

One day in 2022, I was asked to recite a poem of mine to someone instrumental. That day opened me up to beat making. I then, on my own, started to create beats to place with my short stories and poetry. My musical pieces and poems started to get attention, and people couldn’t believe I was a newb to music producing. I had many indie artists wanting to collaborate with me. I have since then found a way to merge my arts into one with visual storytelling with my music and created my website to provide a home for a full experience. My persona name is OhK.Launch/ K.Valerice, OhK.Launch is inspired by one of my favorite anime shows, Dragon Ball. There’s this character named Launch on that series who sneezes and changes personalities. If you find a track of mine with my tag, you can hear me saying, “Oh K. Launch achoo”, setting the presence of my other persona. However, my artist and pen name is K. Valerice.  I welcome all to OHK.LAUNCH/K.VALERICE, my world of art and music, where I try to show all nine muses as one.
